These wings are the perfect dish to serve while you and some friends and family are watching your favorite team play in the big game.
Hence the name “Gameday Wings”.
Fire up your Grilla Grill and get cookin’!
To Start:
Heat your grill to 275°.
In the video, Ben Wilson uses a Water Pan in the smoker when smoking wings. Feel free to add a water pan to your next set of Gameday Wings. This step is completely optional and up to the grill master!
Water Pan:
Can be used to add moisture to your smoke chamber. It adds humidity to your grilling environment. It is optional and you can experiment with adding alcohol or spices to the water, to add that extra juicy layer of smoking and absorption of flavors into your food.
Ben Wilsons’ Temperature Process:
These wings are best when cooked in your Grilla Grill at a relatively high temperature.
275° for 30 minutes
After you have reached your temperature and hit the 30-minute mark.
Go ahead and crank it up!
300° for another 30 minutes to really get that crispy skin on your wings that we all know you love.
