Korean Style Beef Marinade

If you want to jazz up some short ribs or add some serious flair to a flank steak, then this marinade is for you! Super easy to make and fun to serve to family and friends. Give this recipe a go and ENJOY!

Ingredients

  • 5 pounds beef short ribs (or meat of your choosing)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 Asian pear, peeled and finely shredded
  • 4 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • Ground black pepper, to taste

Directions

Combine all ingredients into a bowl and whisk until incorporated.

Pour over the meat of your choosing and marinate for at least four hours or, preferably, overnight.

NOTE: It is best to marinate meat in a gallon zip lock bag or a NON-metallic bowl or container.
