Sous Vide Steak

We have partnered with MEAT! to bring you collaborative recipes and deals on our most popular products. This recipe produces a perfectly cooked steak every time, with the precise temperature control of the MEAT! sous vide and the flavorful sear of the Grilla Primate

Ingredients

  • Favorite cut of steak (we used 2 Ribeye's and 2 NY strips)
  • 1/2 Cup Olive Oil
  • 1Cup Soy Sauce
  • 1 Cup Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Pepper
  • 3 tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 3 tbsp Italian seasoning

Products

  • Grilla Primate (we used the griddle top to produce a seared crust)
  • MEAT! Chamber Sealer
  • MEAT! Sous Vide

Directions

(please note that this was for 4 12oz+ steaks)

  • Mix your spices and wet ingredients in a bowl
  • Put your steaks in individual vacuum bags
  • Pour equal parts of the marinade into each bag
  • Sealing 1 at a time, place the bag into the MEAT! Chamber Sealer and seal
  • Once all are sealed, get your MEAT! Sous Vide set on 120° F (your desired temperature of steak will determine your sous vide temp)
  • After the sous vide gets to temp place the bags in the sous vide for ~2 hours
  • Pull bags and remove steaks from their marinade
  • Get the Primate griddle to a good searing temp (we were around 500°)
  • Throw some butter or a splash of oil on the griddle and place steaks on the griddle for ~1-2 minutes on each side
  • Pull steaks off a few degrees before desired internal temp, rest for 5 minutes, and enjoy!
