A little critisim .
The grill and package arrived promply as ordered in excellent condition. Assembly took as you say about ten minutes after twenty minutes of unpacking. I have cooked about four or five times so far so as you can see still a novice but learning. The only thing that I can say is wish is that there is a better written manual that would come with the grill. Such as how to regulate the auger speed as that is my only problem with the unit. I have gotten the procedure and now I am fine tuning the grill so that it keep a set temperature. Also I would love to see a power switch so I can turn off the electricity to the grill instead of unplugging it every time, and a pellet dump system so that the flavors of the pellets can be changed easily and when not in use the moisture does not get the pellets moist and them swell and cause a blocked auger. Otherwise the is the perfect size smoker/grill for me as a single widower. I do not think that there is a finer built grill on the market other than this one for its intended purpose and mine. 1st smoke last night
Smoked a chicken for superbowl ! 1st time using and worked flawless! Chicken was tender juicy and smoked perfctly. Something I was concerned with was the cycling of the fan in Mode 1 PID. I learned it was normal through a web search. Would have been nice if this was explained in the owners manual.

Great purchase for me
I love this Chimp. I was using a GM Davy Crockett till I bought the Silverback. I was so impressed by the Silverback I had to have the Chimp. I cooked Baloney, Steak, chicken and even smoked breakfast sausage and a whole ham with it. Great purchase for me.

Did my research.
Took me weeks to decide on whether or not to go with grilla grills. Went with the chimp and I do not regret it! Keeps the temp steady , amount of smoke is perfect. Nice and compact too! Tri tips,ribs and pulled pork have come out perfect!
